“Working in this industry for nearly a decade, and with a background in education, I’ve noticed a real lack of training for new private event showgirls.
Like so many of us, I had to figure it out on my own, and the few trainings that exist are usually face-to-face, which isn’t always accessible depending on location, available spots, or even financial reasons.
I found this lack of access sometimes harmful, especially for workers doing triple 🌶️ shows, where hygiene and safety are things we simply cannot brush aside.
Informed consent is incredibly important to me, and I believe every aspiring or new showgirl deserves to understand what they are stepping into — the beauty of it, the less pretty, and the truth of what this job really entails.
I wanted to create a workbook that showgirls could access from home — a step-by-step guide that feels personal to THEM. It covers essential topics such as types of shows, how to choose a type based on your own boundaries, booking processes, hygiene, and sexual health for showgirls.
I wanted them to have a solid base to start with — how to build their own show step by step, what to pack, and all the little things I wish someone had told me.
I wish I’d had this resource when I started shows, and that’s exactly why I wrote it — to give others the opportunity a lot of us didn’t have.”
